37" Great Bowl O' Fire

The Great Bowl O’ Fire is an unique work of art hand-cut by artist John T Unger. No two are exactly alike, as the flames are drawn free-hand.
The Great Bowl O’ Fire functions as a gorgeous sculptural element either hot or cold. By day, the flame shapes cast intriguing shadows both inside and outside the bowl and the rich tones of the patina suggest a warm blaze. At night, with a fire burning, the bowl casts flickering shadows as lively as the fire within.                                                                         22" high overall, bowl is 37" diameter x 18" deep, on 12" diameter base. 110 lbs.
Suitable for gas (22-24" burner), wood or charcoal fires

37" Diameter Fiery Fleur-de-Lis

37" Diameter Waves O' Fire

37" Big Bowl O Canada

Let the Great Flaming Lotus firepit bring a calming Zen to your garden. Just as the Egyptians regarded the lotus bloom as a symbol of resurrection, this simple and modern firebowl has been reborn from recycled steel. Warm and inviting, the Great Flaming Lotus offers a contemplative centerpiece referencing centuries of spiritual practice associated with the lotus blossom.                                                   22" ht. overall, bowl is 37" dia. x 18" deep on a 12" diameter base. 115 lbs.  Suitable for gas (22-24" burner), wood, or charcoal fires.

Long said to be a symbol of divine favor, the stylized flower design of the Fleur-de-Lis is found in nearly all cultures throughout history and is associated with a rich constellation of meanings.  My favorite is the archaic variant fleur-de-lis or "Flower of light" which so precisely describes this firebowl.                                                                                           22" high overall, with a bowl of 37" diameter x 18" deep on a 12" diameter base. 100 lbs.  Suitable for gas (22-24" burner), wood or charcoal fires.

The Big Bowl O Canada takes it's name from Canada's National Anthem. The motif was inspired by a custom Great Bowl O' Fire for a Calgary client who requested a stylized flame in the shape of a maple leaf.  Filled with natural beauty and wonders, peopled by folks who love the outdoors, I can't think of any place that has more use for a firebowl that is solid and durable, beautiful and meaningful, large enough to gather a group of friends under a huge night sky.           22" high overall, bowl 22" dia.x 18" deep; 12" diameter base.        115 lbs.  All suitable for use with gas (22-24" burner), wood or charcoal fires.

37" Great Flaming Lotus

37 " Diameter King Isosceles

The Waves O' Fire brings together all of the four elements: Fire when lit, Water in the design, Air to feed the fire and Earth in the steel itself. It's a full-on Feng Shui garden feature in a classical and pleasing design. I particularly love the shadows cast by this design… the play of light and dark extends the metaphor of balance and harmony.                                                                                              22" high overall, bowl 37" diameter x 18" deep; 12" diameter base.      120 lbs.  All suitable for gas (22-24" burner), wood or charcoal fires.

37" Meridian

The Meridian's canted bowl is a study in balance and an homage to the phases of the moon. Lit from within, the Meridian has the appearance of a great harvest moon, glowing orange and dusky in the night. In dark, the base disappears into the shadows leaving only the glowing center visible, as though suspended at the low horizon.  The Meridian is a perfect solution for locations prone to high winds. You can rotate the bowl on its base to cradle the fire in a protected space or to control smoke and sparks. Although all of my raised firebowls radiate heat to the upper body, the Meridian reflects more heat higher, making it one of the most practical for heating the outdoors.                 37" ht., and sitting on a 12" diameter base.                            156 lbs.  Suitable for gas (19" burner), wood or charcoal fires.

37" Diameter Big Bowl O' Zen

A perfect hemisphere of heavy duty steel on a slim, nearly hidden base, the Big Bowl O' Zen makes a statement without speaking loudly. Graceful, serene, modern yet classical.                                 19 " ht. overall; 37" wide x 18" deep bowl; 12" diameter base.     150 lbs.  Suitable for gas (22-24" burner), wood or charcoal fires.

30" Font O' Fire pedestal

If you're looking for a tasteful, minimalist firebowl for a modern home this might be just the ticket.                                                             30" Font pedestal: 30" in diameter, 15" high, bowl is 6" deep.          80 lbs.  Suitable for gas (22-24" burner) , wood or charcoal fires.

26" Isosceles Modern

37" Fireball
The Isosceles Modern is pure minimalism.  This smooth shallow contour connects elements of nature, art and geometry, paring them down to only the most essential expression in form. Though smaller than most of my fire bowls, the Isosceles Modern holds a good-sized fire. Like a flame held in the palm of the hand, the shallower draught of this bowl puts the focus on the fire, and the triangular points of the bowl are a perfect complement to the shapes of the flames.            30" point-to-point, 15" high overall, base is 9" in diameter.                45 lbs.  Suitable for gas (6" burner), wood, or charcoal fires.

37" Firefly

The Fireball is my most monumental sculptural firebowl, 275 pounds of formed and welded steel. Dramatic in its bold simplicity, the Fireball is massive, monolithic, deep with meaning. The sphere is often seen as a symbol of the world, of unity, of peace and of perfection. The sheer mass of this simple orb exudes celestial presence— a planetary weight and gravity.                                                                                         37" diameter x 38" ht., 16" top opening, sitting on a 12" diameter base.          275 lbs.  Suitable for gas (12" burner) or wood only.
The Firefly is a deep, large bowl that shields fire from wind within its three petals while providing an inviting space to gaze into the fire. Joining the cut off from the King Isosceles to the form of a Big Bowl O' Zen, the Firefly resembles a large flower bud or seed pod.  A study in contrasts, the firefly uses light and dark to create a heightened illusion of depth, a chiaroscuro effect accentuating shadow and flame. Like fireflies captured in a jar on a summer eve, the sparks circle enclosed, glowing stars of your own.                                                                   38" ht., bowl is 37" deep on a 12" diameter base.                            210 lbs.   Suitable for gas (22-24" burner) or wood only.

The King Isosceles firebowl has an intriguing geometry with the deep curves cut into its profile. As you can see from the lead photo, the King Isosceles can hold as large a fire as you desire!                     37" wide x 17" deep bowl , on a 12"diameter base, totaling 21" height overall.  90 lbs.  Suitable for gas (22-24" burner), wood or charcoal fires.
